Catagory: Residential Alterations
The owners renovation requirements for this 1970's style Redwoods Valley house was for alot more space, including a new "granny flat" and the full modernisation treatment.
A better response to the available panoramic views was also needed and better outdoor living facilities. This latter request was achieved by building up a landscape mound with boulders, bridge beams and soil to create a patio court adjacent to main living rooms, while at the same time disguising the unsightly basement. The home is now obviously larger and the modernisation, well that speaks for itself.
