Conditions of Purchase and Use, and Options Available

 

Full working drawings and specifications are available for all designs. These include: Floor plans, Site plan, Foundation plan, Elevations, Typical Sections and Assembly details.

Documents may only be used once. If the same design is to be used again on a different site, then the same base fee is again payable (but not any modification fees).

As each plan has to be site specific, checks of the local Territorial Authority and Resource Management Plan Building Code requirements must be made. An indication of how long it will take to have the plans completed will be given at the time of initial enquiry.

Alterations to designs are possible and may be required, for example, if a particular plan does not fit your site, or because of your personal preferences. Costs for modifications to the standard plans are charged extra at our current hourly rate. A quotation will be included with our confirmation of engagement letter.

If none of the designs suit your taste or your section, or you have a floor plan layout of your own, we would be pleased to adapt this to our system. Please enquire about fees for this service.

Building Consents are guaranteed in so far as preparation of the working drawings is concerned. Factors affecting building consents or resource consents outside the scope of the drawings are the owner’s or builder’s responsibility, (eg. dispensations, controlled uses, etc.) Any required engineering design is charged separately, please enquire for details and estimates.

The Regency Homes plan service is limited to preparing drawings for flat or near flat sites, suitable for concrete floor slabs (excepting the Cottage range, timber floor design falls under modification work and will incur a small additional charge). Such sites should be fully titled with all services in place and you will need to supply us with copies of certain documents such as the certificate of title for the land.

Any attempted or actual infringement by Using, Reproducing, or Copying of same wholly or in part without prior written permission will result in court proceedings for damages and may result in criminal prosecution.
