This house was one of the most challenging designs of my entire career on a very small, steep site and for a limited budget, the solution (achieved without needing consents from neighbours) stands and is a great little house to live in with expansive views of the Maitai Valley, my favourite place in Nelson.
Fielding House from the North East
Exterior walls in two tone Onduline corrugated cladding with Macrocarpa timber trim and facings around openings, a roof of plain Zincalume with spouting and downpipes to match. The house is on two levels with the upper level containing a double garage and front entry, WC, childrens bedrooms, and gallery between. Lower storey consisting Lounge, Dining, kitchen, bathroom and Master bedroom
